Pupil Premium Statement:

In 2011-12 the Government launched its Pupil Premium funding. This money is sent to schools based on the numbers of pupils in the school who are eligible for Free School Meals (FSM). It has been expanded to include all children who have been eligible for FSM within the last 6 years and children in Forces families.

This grant is allocated to ensure that pupils reach their full potential, both academically and socially, and to close gaps that may exist between groups of pupils. The spending of this grant should be to this aim and so the impact of our expenditure will be continually evaluated and adapted as necessary.

We have a named Governor, who has overall responsibility for ensuring that we meet this aim: Sarah Moreton, who will work closely with The Governing Board, Senior Leadership and whole school team, as they each have a key role to play.

Our Pupil Premium Strategy outlines how we have chosen to allocate the Pupil Premium Grant at Eaton Primary School. The impact of this strategy will be reviewed annually.

If your child does not have Free School Meals, but may be eligible because of your family's income level, please contact the school office (in confidence) to register them. Even if you do not wish for your child to have free school meals, this would mean the school could still claim Pupil Premium funding that will be used to enhance teaching and learning for your child at school.
